Note: This post on the Falls Church and Vienna area is the third in a series of posts featuring neighborhoods our Associates live in and love. The Falls Church and Vienna area of Virginia have so much to offer that we don’t know where to start. With both historic portions and varied suburban feels, a feel of a friendly neighborhood and modern convenience are both within reach. Of course, the housing market differs within these areas, but the location is highly desired for its livability and proximity to Washington. Our Associates who live in the community speak for themselves about this multifaceted area:
“I was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow and live here now! The tall oaks, the mature lush landscaping, the foxes, deer, bunnies and the nearby Lake Barcroft are part of why I love Sleepy Hollow. Beyond the nature, it is the curving roads, old and new homes and of course the friendly people. Centrally located we are inside the Beltway, near Metro, most major highways…plus we have a Trader Joes! Don’t need to go anywhere else!”

West Vienna Woods
“The neighborhood sits just behind the bustle of downtown Vienna. We’re close enough to walk to events and restaurants, but still have enough space to feel like you’re off the beaten path. There’s an interesting mix of new homes and old ramblers, making the area diverse in population. My favorite spot is Caffe Amouri for my caffeine jolt, or a quiet place to sit and work/read or catch up with a friend.”

Plus, a spotlight of a special Vienna business…
“The place I personally consider to be a ‘best of Vienna’ location, is the Hope Center (Animal Hospital, on Park Street, near Whole Foods, about 1/2 mile from our new office). They treat your pet like it’s the most important being in the world, and are just the nicest most professional staff. The facility is super clean and updated, and they are known for being open 24/7, 365 days and able to offer in-depth cardio, oncology and emergency services.
Also, they care about the community–I think they have been around for 20 to 30 years and they provide care to the Vienna police dog K-9 units (the police station is also less than 1 mile from the Vienna office). They are truly an awesome Vienna business.”
