Largo is located northeast of District Heights, just outside of the Capital Beltway. Like other communities in Prince George’s County, Largo shares an agrarian past. This lives on at the Old Maryland Farm, an educational farm facility open to the public.
The development of the community is a relatively recent affair that coincides with the construction of the Beltway, the Capital Centre, Largo Town Center and FedEx Field.
