" When it came time to sell our home at River Creek in Leesburg, we followed our accustomed practice and engaged a real estate company. As time passed and showings were few and far between and there were no offers, we decided to not renew the original realtor’s contract and to begin a new selling season with a different realtor. Rather than engaging one of the many realtors that called when our initial listing was removed, we decided to go back and interview some of the realtors that brought prospective buyers to our home during the time it was on the market.
Both of us agreed to interview June Crisan first. After a few minutes of conversation with June, we decided that she was the one we wanted to engage as our new realtor. No other interviews were necessary.
From the start, we knew we had a competent, dedicated, intelligent, responsive, communicative, engaging, and hard working person as our realtor. She was always available to personally conduct the numerous showings of our home, persuasive enough to cajole us into leaving our home for a few minutes while she showed our property to a prospect that wanted to view it at an inconvenient time, and accommodating enough to show our home even when an unexpected request for a showing found her at home, in her gardening clothes.
We made a good choice choosing June. She got the right results for us!
We are sure this is not the first time you have heard this about June, but it is the first time we write this kind of letter to a real estate firm. We have a good reason, as you can see!
Well done, Thank you.

" Now that I am happily settled in my new townhouse, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your outstanding assistance in marketing my house in Great Falls.
You provided assistance far beyond those that a seller would normally expect. One example which I think was very effective was use of your professional interior decorating sills to make the house look like a model home. We enjoyed your pretty placemats, pillows, flowers, and candles which made us feel like we were coming home to a new house. Your suggestion to replace the kitchen hardware with new sparkling cabinet pulls was also an easy and attractive improvement.
Other examples include your excellent series of suggestions for more effective marketing of the home such as lighting and painting, and your continuing willingness to provide a number of open houses and various types of advertising. Your suggestion for some other improvements made the house seem ready for a new family to move into immediately and feel at home. You even helped expedite the closing for BOTH buyer and seller.
We not only were impressed with your suggestions and over marketing techniques, but we were impressed with you as a person. You are a truly enjoyable person with which to work. You are very professional and focused. You provided the utmost in service to me and my family and always maintained a wonderful soft-spoken manner during this difficult personal time for me. I only wished I had used your services from the very beginning. You were heads above my previous agent.
Again, thanks for providing a substantial amount of time, energy and effort, and for your outstanding marketing.
I hope this is only the beginning of a long friendship.
" June Crisan was our realtor when we sold a home in River Creek this year. In three decades of selling and purchasing properties, we unequivocally state she is the most professional realtor with whom we have worked. The entire experience was seamless and positive and despite the stagnant market, June sold our home within three months – to our satisfaction with price and conditions.
From our first meeting, we knew we would be working with June. She put together a comprehensive strategy which included all the elements we required, including high-end and extensive marketing, staging and regular open houses. During that period, June reported to us regularly without our having to ask. She provided immediate and detailed analysis on every showing and open house. When we received multiple offers on one weekend, June worked tirelessly in representing our best interests. She hammered out details, weighed options with us, and negotiated until the deal was sealed. It did not end there, however. At settlement itself, June assumed a leadership role to ensure closing took place as scheduled, despite issues arising from delays in the buyer’s bank transfers.
June Crisan is the consummate professional. She clearly takes pride in her work, and the years of experience she brings to the table are readily apparent in every aspect of marketing and selling our home – down to the smallest detail. Without reservation, June will represent us in all future transactions. We wholeheartedly recommend June Crisan as the realtor of choice.
" I just wanted to drop you this note to tell you how pleased we are about the way you’ve handling the sale of our home and how much we appreciate all you’re doing that’s far beyond what we’ve ever experienced in our 30 years of moving around the country. I thought your turnout of almost 70 brokers at the brokers’ open house was extraordinary! Likewise, the gorgeous full-color ads you’ve placed in Luxury Homes, Homes and Land, as well as other local papers, have all been first class. It was gratifying to see you fuss over all those details and it has certainly paid off, I believe, in the number of showings you’ve been able to stimulate.
I particularly appreciate your tolerance of our need to keep our listing “appointment only”. I’m sure it hasn’t been easy for you to make yourself available for all showings, but I’m delighted you’ve always managed.
We both thank you for all your good advice and your professional approach to your business.
" Susan and I just wanted to drop you a few lines to tell you how happy that we were that we selected you to sell our Reston Home. From the minute you arrived, you were most professional, but also very personable. We really appreciated your input on what we needed to do to put our home in the best possible light. While I was a bit stubborn about doing some of the things you suggested (like painting our paneling in the FR!”), I’m so glad that we took your advice. Actually, I wish we had painted that paneling a long time ago – it really brightened the room!
Thank you for offering many of your personal belongings to stage our home, as well. We are minimalists, as you know, and never really appreciated how a few decorative objects would enhance our home. When I tell people that you brought over staging items and physically moved furniture around, they are amazed. Not many realtors will go the extra mile like you did.
To get a sale in less than 2 days was truly amazing!! And, to add to the excitement, you encouraged us to list our home for more than we would have thought, and we got the full asking price! I told you that every dollar that you got me over $700,000 would make you a hero in my book. Well, we got $30,000 more than we ever expected, so I guess you are 30,000 times a hero!
Your follow-through from the first day to the final day of settlement was beyond our expectations. You kept us informed every step of the way and negotiated wonderfully on our behalf during the home inspection. What can I say – “you’re super agent”!! Anyone who hires you to sell their home will be hiring the best!
We hope you and Jim visit us in our home in WVA. Once we get settled, we plan to have an open house and it wouldn’t be complete without you there.
" I am finally getting around to sending you a long overdue note to thank you for your services. I know that you were in a difficult position of representing us, the buyer, and the seller, which in this case was the relocation department of a large corporation. The purchase of a home for anyone is always an emotional situation. I’m sure that we met the profile of the consummate demanding buyer. I can only imagine how difficult it was working with the relocation department. They have no emotion. It is all dollars and cents for them; pure, hard-nose negotiation. I feel that you listened well and structured
A win-win agreement for both parties. Having been in commercial real estate for eight years, I know a talented agent when I meet one. You are without a doubt in the upper echelon of our industry.
I would also like to thank you for the beautiful Baldwin door-knocker. The knocker alone was an unexpected and unnecessary gift, but the fact that you went to the trouble of having it engraved provided that extra touch of class that is so rare in any industry. You are truly one-in-a-million and I would feel comfortable recommending you to anyone. Thanks again.
" This letter has been a long time coming. You’ve been a wonderful friend over the past 20 years and we knew you were a great realtor, but we didn’t know just how great you are!
You’ve worked with us over the years to purchase our first home in Reston way back when. We were struggling to get adjusted to Northern Virginia after we left Buffalo, and you were always there for us….not just professionally, but personally. You found us our first rental, then our first townhome in Reston and then our beautiful home in Belmont Country Club. You worked with us through a most difficult transaction with the CIA agent who bought our Reston home. You even came to Court with us when we had to sue her for our security deposit! Your advice was stellar and, of course, we prevailed! What other agent would do that!???
When we got the opportunity to move to Hawaii, you were there to hold my hand and to make me see that this would be an exciting time of my life. You know that I’m not good at changes!
You found us the perfect tenant and even managed our property for us while we were in Hawaii. When we decided to sell our home, you were there for us again. I still can’t believe that you handled all the contractors by yourself! You picked a beautiful wall color for our home and hired a wonderful painter/contractor. You supervised his work and made sure that the job was done right. You made sure all the carpentry work was done, all the electrical repairs were made, and you even polished our hardwood floors! You selected new carpet and used your expertise to hire and fair and reputable installer. And then, you brought over rugs, miscellaneous furniture, accessories, etc. to stage our home and make it show beautifully. You did all this by yourself while we still lived in Hawaii and you never asked for anything extra in return.
It was a difficult sale, but you stayed with us and made it happen. You even spent hours and hours with a “bogus” internet buyer (I cringe every time I hear the name, Mr. Kim!). We all knew that this inquiry was probably not legitimate, but you followed through professionally and without bias. You made sure that Mr. Kim was handled by the proper people, so he couldn’t take advantage of us. During all of this, you calmed me down and were very reassuring that this would either end in a sale or he would finally understand that we weren’t going to fall for his scam. I’m still shocked that so much of this is going on!
After the sale of our home, you found us our new rental in Reston. We couldn’t come back to do this ourselves, so you stepped up to the plate. We know you stuck your neck out for us, and we truly appreciate it. We love our new temporary home, but hopefully, you will be there if we decide to purchase again in Northern Virginia. We’re not sure if we will stay here since we’re thinking of retiring somewhere in North or South Carolina, but you will be the first person we call if we do decide to stay here.
Well, we don’t know what more to say, except that you are one of the most wonderful persons that we have had the pleasure of knowing. You’ve been an amazing friend and an even more amazing realtor. Here’s to many more years together!
" Our family would like to take the time to thank McEnearney Associates and our agent, June Crisan, for all the help you provided us in selling our home. We are especially grateful for Ms. June Crisan, who we also now consider our personal friend.
Ms. Crisan (June to us) is a very hardworking, practical individual who has been extremely reliable in her attention to our needs. We have found her to be very amicable and knowledgeable in her work.
We believe that she is very devoted to her profession. It is because of the qualities she possesses that carried us through the ordeal of a lengthy sale and closing. She was patient, kind, carried herself with class and communicated regularly. We also believe because of her honesty and willingness to help others that she is a valuable asset to the community. Please feel free to contact us personally.
