Bob Bolster comes to McEnearney Commercial Inc. with over twenty years of Capitol Hill and government affairs experience. Originally from Pasadena, CA Bob moved to Washington D.C. in 1994 to work for Congressman Steve Largent as a Legislative Assistant. In 1998 Bob was promoted to Legislative Director responsible for directing the Congressman’s legislative and policy agenda. In 2002, Bob received a Schedule C political appointment to become a Congressional Relations Officer for the General Services Administration (GSA) acting as GSA’s primary liaison between Congress and the Federal Technology Service. In 2003 Bob returned to Capitol Hill as the Director of Coalitions for the House Financial Services Committee in which he was actively involved with the reauthorization of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. And from 2004 to 2015, Bob was Assistant Vice President, Government Affairs for CTIA – The Wireless Association during which time the wireless industry grew from 100 million to over 300 million customers.
Bob is a skilled professional who has earned the reputation as an honest broker who works tirelessly to achieve successful outcomes.
Bob and his wife Marlene live in Fairfax with their 12 year old son Connor. In his spare time, Bob enjoys coaching Connor’s basketball teams, golfing, and fishing.
