" Tammi Curran is a phenomenal real estate agent. I have recommended her to everyone I know who is looking to purchase a home. I am a first time homeowner/purchaser, so Tammi made time to explain the process to me and answer my million questions at any time of the day. She made certain that the areas and communities I was considering were safe and met my criteria (dog friendly, commuter friendly, car free lifestyle friendly). She is simply THE BEST! "

" My wife and I were extremely fortunate to acquire the real estate services of Tammi Curran. From the time of initial meeting through final settlement, Tammi was actively engaged with our process. She went above-and-beyond by regularly making a long trek from Annandale to Ashburn, in order to personally meet with us to assist with preparing our home for sale, hosting well attended open houses, crafting a realistic sale price, and a smart approach to managing offers. Early-on we sensed a bump-in-the-road, as a number of potential buyers appeared to be dissuaded by the lack of a master bedroom en-suite. We followed Tammi’s recommendation to offer a buyer incentive to off-set this concern – which was likely key to selling our house in 18 days at asking price. Yes, 18 days (!), in the middle of Winter, with snow on the ground. Her support did not end there. We learned that Tammi has a wealth of resources available to her. When we received our to-do list from the buyer, Tammi quickly and easily identified tradesmen who were able to tackle the list items professionally and at reasonable cost. Tammi came to real estate following an impressive career in law firm management. I imagine this is where she learned to aptly manage a demanding schedule, with competing priorities, and to interact with people with varying personalities and expectations. I don’t think any home selling process is stress free, but partnering with Tammi certainly made our experience less stressful, as her vibrant personality, and clear knowledge of real estate procedures and tactics, exudes confidence, inspiring us to comfortably place our trust in her. The icing on the cake was the buyers were overwhelmingly happy with their purchase, allowing us to walk away knowing that with Tammi’s assistance, we did not merely sell a residence, we sold a home – a place where they will have years of joy and protection from the elements, as we did. " Tammi Curran made selling our first home and buying our first "family" home a seamless transaction. She was always available, regardless of the hour, to answer our calls, texts, and emails quickly and accurately. Tammi helped us line up contractors to complete home inspection items and even meet them to ensure the work was done correctly. We have already recommended her to our friends and family and will continue to do so."

" With the hopes of selling our existing home before embarking on our search, we signed with Tammi just to lock her in as our agent. After meeting her at an open house it was so clear to us that she didn’t feel like the typical sales driven agent. Intimidation can only start to describe how we felt about buying in the Northern Virginia market. Tammi conducted an exhaustive inventory of our home “wish list” and sought out homes that fit within this list within our proposed budget. She continued searching weekly for three months, checking back with us whenever she found a potential hit, as our out-of-state home sat on the market. The two things I appreciated most about working with Tammi were 1) her knowledge of the seasonal market inventory and 2) her ability to see the potential of a listing, beyond its current state. We ended up buying a home much larger and on more acreage than we ever imagined. Tammi helped us recognize the value of the listing, act on it quickly and bargain the price to accommodate improvements before we moved in. Tammi was a trusted advisor, advocate and friend throughout an uncertain time for our family. She helped us find a home in which we plan to stay for decades rather than a starter home that would only fit us for a few years. If I didn’t have to move again to hire her, I would do so again in heartbeat!"

" Tammy exceeded all of our expectations. She offered timely and well considered advice and she kept us up to speed on all of the things that were taking place. We never had to call her to find out what was going on, she kept in touch with us. She did a superior job of marketing our house, conducted a neighbor open house before the public open house. She took the lead in making sure things were completed and done correctly. This is not my first house sale, but of all of them, this was head and shoulders above my experience with any of them. Well done!"

" I met with Tammi Curran last September to discuss the sale of my home in Fairfax Station. I wanted to have the house ready for the Spring sales market and needed to begin the process of downsizing for my next move. Tammi suggested a timetable that was tremendously helpful in allowing me to meet my goal. She thoroughly researched the sales in my neighborhood, and after touring my home, she told me that she was confident I could get a much higher price than the most recent comps. Tammi made thoughtful comments about areas that I might want to consider updating before selling. She recommended a contractor who was quickly able to accomplish the work. Knowing that I was also very involved running my own business, she volunteered to take on the role of project manager. Tammi selected all the materials and finishes and was at the house regularly supervising the work. The renovations were relatively inexpensive but the results were fantastic giving my home a very polished, updated look. Tammi checked in with me on a regular basis to see how my downsizing efforts were coming along and even volunteered to help with that effort. On the morning that the marketing photos were to be taken, Tammi arrived at my home with a car load of beautiful items from her own home to compliment my staging. Tammi has exacting standards and the photographer she hired took stunning photos of the property. After just two days on the market, I received four offers on my home. I accepted an offer well above the list price. Tammi then took it upon herself to be at my house to meet with the appraiser when he arrived to give him data which supported this price. This was crucial because the price was $44,000 higher than any sale in my neighborhood in the last two years. The house appraised and a new record for Crosspointe was set! I also ran into a last minute problem with my HOA. Even though she was out of town attending her daughter's college graduation, Tammi took the time to call the Association Manager to try to resolve the open issue. At every step of the way during this transaction, Tammi was my advocate. In fact, I felt as if I was Tammi's only client. Selling your home is a stressful process. I greatly appreciated Tammi's kind and caring approach, her great sense of humor and intelligence, and the professional way in which she conducted herself on my behalf. I would recommend Tammi without hesitation. "

" It was our good fortune to hire Tammi Curran as our realtor, and it is our sincere pleasure to give her our personal 4-star rating. Tammi is the consummate professional, while also being one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. After living in our home for 30+ years, we not only decided to downsize but also to move cross country to be near our children. This was a monumental decision but once the decision was made, it was all-systems-go. However, the thought of where to begin the process and how to proceed was indeed overwhelming. We began meeting with Tammi in fall, even though our house wasn’t going on the market until spring. One of the first things Tammi did was establish a tentative timeline, and then we discussed what needed to happen and when. Following Tammi’s advice, we began cleaning out closets and drawers, as well as selling or donating furniture that we would not be taking with us. After that, we tackled some home improvement projects. Our house was exceptionally well-maintained, but we understood that to ready our home to earn top dollar in today’s market, we’d need some updates. Tammi wanted us to spend the least amount possible to get optimal results so we decided what we would do and how much we could spend. We hired a contractor who works closely with Tammi, and in less than 2 weeks, painters, plumbers, and electricians gave our house a fresh new makeover. The results were impressive. The house looked spectacular: updated, bright, and very marketable. Finally, came the fun part…staging. Since we still had furniture in our home, Tammi made some great suggestions for rearranging the furniture, and she brought some decorative items that gave the house additional pizzaz. Long story short, in mid-April the house went on the market on a Friday and we accepted a wonderful contract that Sunday evening. It’s a given that selling a house can be a stressful process. Tammi helped us navigate those waters providing suggestions and solutions that made the experience manageable...and yes, at times, even enjoyable. She is an excellent realtor and a lovely person to work with. We just can’t say enough good things about Tammi. If you hire her, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Tammi Curran certainly exceeded our already high expectations. "
