Rockville

Rockville is located north of Bethesda off I-270. Rockville remained an agricultural community through much of the 18th and 19th centuries until the B&O Railroad arrived in 1873. With a direct line from Washington, Rockville’s population increased and new ventures were pursued outside Washington’s boundaries. Today Rockville is home to a number of research offices and headquarters for both private and public enterprises.

Quality of Life:

Rockville features many historical homes sites. Some of the homes that make up these neighborhoods are over 100 years old and have been constructed in a variety of architectural styles.
