Forest Hills is located in Northwest D.C. Like Chevy Chase to the north, the environment of Forest Hills is lush - tall, thick trees line arching streets that conform to the community’s rolling hills.

The story of Forest Hills is similar to that of other communities in Northwest. Forest Hills was initially home to Native Americans, later the site of Civil War encampments and eventually, a “neighborhood” of large farms and distinguished estates.
