Description

Wow, what a terrific location, house and lot! Renovated table-space kitchen (2004) with Bosch refrigerator, energy-efficient windows (2004), hot water heater (2017), roof (2019), new driveway (2019) and soothing hot tub! The lot is one of the largest in the neighborhood (goes well beyond the fenced area) with a garden path to a huge storage 'barn'. Exactly one mile to the Metro, Rockville Town Center a stone's throw, commuter routes moments away....convenience epitomized!

Rockville

Rockville is located north of Bethesda off I-270. Rockville remained an agricultural community through much of the 18th and 19th centuries until the B&O Railroad arrived in 1873. With a direct line from Washington, Rockville’s population increased and new ventures were pursued outside Washington’s boundaries. Today Rockville is home to a number of research offices and headquarters for both private and public enterprises.

Quality of Life:

Rockville features many historical homes sites. Some of the homes that make up these neighborhoods are over 100 years old and have been constructed in a variety of architectural styles. Rockville is also comprised of several large, planned neighborhoods that offer a combination of single-family homes, condos, townhomes and rental apartments. This stands in contrast to Rockville Town Center, which lends to a more urban living experience.

Rockville’s parks are all extremely well maintained. It is a great place to live because of the many county offered facilities and programs. A Farmers Market offering fresh locally grown fruits and vegetable is available every Wednesday from June through October and every Saturday from May until November. The yearly events such as the Fourth of July fireworks and the Hometown Holidays are wonderful. Dining at Rockville Town Center is convenient and one can find almost any type of cuisine to satisfy the discerning tastes of children and parents alike.

Getting Around:

Residents can pick up the Red Line metro at the Rockville station. Main roads are I-270, Rockville Pike, Wootton Parkway, Norbeck Road and Gude Drive. The MARC train is also available at Rockville station.

Airports:

Ronald Reagan National Airport:  < 25 miles.
Washington Dulles International Airport:  < 30 miles.
Baltimore Washington International Airport:  < 45 miles.
