Waterford

Waterford is located northwest of Leesburg and south of Lovettsville.  It was settled by Quakers in the early 1700's and is one of few National Landmark Villages in the nation. Many of the original structures remained untouched and in disrepair until the 1940's, when members of the community proceeded with revitalization efforts.
